So we’ve carefully picked a list of TV and movies to brighten your weekend!
Jogi – (Netflix):
This film, which stars Diljit Dosanjh, Amyra Dastur, Hiten Tejwani, Neetu Kohli, Kumud Mishra, and Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub will be released on Netflix on September 16, 2022. This historical drama, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, takes place in India in the 1980s.
In the midst of political instability, three friends from different cities band together to save hundreds of people in their community. Their mission will be risky, despite the fact that they are doing wonderful work.
A Private Affair – (Amazon Prime Video)
Aura Garrido and Jean Reno (yep, from ‘Léon, the Professional’) travel to Galicia in the 1940s to track a serial murderer who has been wandering for months and taking lives at random in this Spanish series that some have compared to a Sherlock Holmes mystery.
Heartbreak High (Netflix):
This Netflix original series, starring Ayesha Madon, James Majoos, Chloe Hayden, and Asher Yasbincek, premiered on September 14, 2022. This series, directed by Gracie Otto, Adam Murfet, Jessie Oldfield, and Niel Sharma, is a reboot of the 1994 series of the same name.
The film follows outsiders Quinni and Darren, as well as Amerie, as they struggle to fit in at Hartley High while juggling other responsibilities.
Dahan – (Disney+ Hotstar):
This series, starring Tisca Chopra, Saurabh Shukla, Rajesh Tailang, Ankur Nayyar, and Mukesh Tiwari, will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on September 16, 2022. This horror and thriller series, directed by Vikrant Pawar, is set in the haunted town of Shilaspura. The preacher’s ghost is said to be trapped in a mound.

Goodnight Mommy – (Amazon Prime Video)
This film, starring Naomi Watts, Cameron Crovetti, Nicholas Crovetti, and Peter Hermann, will be released on Amazon Prime Videos on September 16, 2022. This horror film, directed by Matt Sobel, is a remake of the 2014 Australian thriller of the same name.
The story involves twin boys who arrive at their mother’s house to discover her face bandaged. They soon believe that the woman beneath is not who she claims to be.
Do Revenge – (Netflix)
Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke feature in this dark comedy about two young girls who decide to take on each other’s school rivals.
Do Revenge, directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who directed Netflix’s Someone Great and MTV’s Sweet/Vicious.
teams up Robin from Stranger Things and Veronica from Riverdale’s Veronica to do each other’s revenge.
