Kangana Ranaut on Thursday promoted Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming reality show ‘Lockup’. Kangana is the host of this show. During the press conference when a reporter asked Kangana about Deepika Padukone’s recent controversy in which a social media influencer made fun of her short dress. On this, Kangana gave such an answer to the reporter that the people sitting there kept watching.

In fact, Kangana was asked how a woman like Deepika Padukone is being trolled for her outfit, how does it affect the fight for women empowerment. To this, Kangana said, “I am here to defend and speak for those who cannot raise their voice.”

 

Kangana Ranaut further says, “Deepika Padukone has her own voice, a platform and a fan following. She can defend herself. I am not sitting here to promote his film”. Now, various reactions of social media users are coming out on this statement of Kangana.

Deepika was trolled for short dress

 

Actually, social media influencer Freddy Birdie made a comment about ‘Deepika’. Freddy wrote in his Instagram post, “Newton’s law of Bollywood, as the release date of the depths approaches. The clothes will get shorter”. Although Deepika responded by saying – “Scientists believe that the universe is made up of protons, neutrons and electrons … but they forgot to tell about the fools.”

According to reports, the reality show “lockup”  is going to be hosted by “Kangana Ranaut”.In this show many famous celebrities will be locked up in jail cells. It has never been seen on Television. The show is set to premiere on MX Player and ALT Balaji by the end of February.
