Chris Evans, who was named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2022, has always been a charmer and has long been considered an eligible bachelor. But that may be changing now that the Captain America actor has finally confirmed his relationship status. And, yes, he has been dating Portuguese actress Alba Baptista for a year.

Alba began her career at the age of 16 and made her English-language debut in the Netflix drama series Warrior Nun. Alba was seen as the lead character, Ava. Aside from that, she appeared in Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris in 2022 and has appeared in a number of Portuguese films and television series.

In addition, the actress won the Shooting Star award at the Berlin Film Festival in 2021. Alba, in addition to her talent, has done a significant amount of humanitarian work, primarily focusing on education at an orphanage in Cambodia in 2018.

On January 6, the 41-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a series of adorable videos with his girlfriend Alba, confirming that they have been dating for a year.

Last November, it was reported that the MCU star had been dating the 25-year-old actress for at least a year. On November 10, Page Six published several photos of the two holding hands while strolling through Central Park while wearing face masks and matching sunglasses.

Elle quoted a source as saying that the rumoured couple was serious about their relationship and in love. According to the source, Chris has never been happier, and all of his friends and family adore Alba. However, there was no official confirmation from the couple until today, when Chris made his ladylove’s Instagram official.

The pair had been following each other on Instagram for quite some time, but they had never shared any images together. If their social media activity is examined, Chris has demonstrated truly dedicated boyfriend behaviour by liking his girlfriend’s posts beginning in October 2022. Though it’s unclear whether Alba will remain with Chris, their Instagram 2022 highlights show that the couple spends a lot of time at the MCU star’s home in Boston.

Aside from that, he will be seen in Artemis, opposite Avengers co-star Scarlett Johansson, and in Scott Derrickson’s Bermuda, which is based on the enigmatic Bermuda Triangle, where numerous ships and planes have mysteriously gone missing over the years. He will also star in Gosted opposite Ana De Armas.
