Chris Pratt Gets An Eye Bee Sting And Blames A Viral Beekeeper: “Fuck That Bee Lady!”

Chris Pratt, star of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ was stung in the eye by a bee.

The actor admitted to having a “false sense of security” after watching footage of Texas-based beekeeper Erika Thompson, who frequently handles the creatures and their hives without any protective gear.

However, his belief that he could “manage” the stinging insects quickly backfired, according to Female First UK.

The 43-year-old actor opted to get close to some bees earlier this week, expecting the buzzy honey-makers to be “calm,” according to Female First UK.

“So I’ve been following this bee lady on Instagram, she’s so cool and fearless and she gets in front of these hives of bees and says, ‘They’re quite peaceful today,” Chris Pratt, wearing sunglasses, said in a video posted on his Instagram account.

I’m going to extract the bee, sift through the bees, and seek for the queen’. It gave me a false sense of confidence to the point where I said, ‘I think I can control bees, too.”

“I noticed a beehive two days ago and I walked near it, which prompted the man beside me to say, ‘Be cautious, there are bees,’ and I thought, ‘These bees look extremely calm,” Chris Pratt said.

Suddenly one of those bees stung me in the eyeball. Anyway, f*** that bee lady.”

He took off his sunglasses to reveal the swollen eye as he told the story. While tagging Thompson, he wrote “@texasbeeworks you inspire me!” in the caption of the post.

The upcoming film will highlight Pratt’s character Peter Quill and his team of guardians. They transform Nowhere into a safe space for aliens, but their plan is threatened when the planet is attacked. Consequently, one last mission must be completed by the guardians.

An Instagram photo of Pratt’s son Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris, made headlines recently. The former couple have kept their son’s face hidden from the public, only revealing it when and where possible. Katherine Schwarzenegger and he are equally private about their two children.
