Coldplay’s Chris Martin Goes ‘What The Heck’ As Arrives At Ahmedabad Concert On Scooter

After three successful concerts in Mumbai, British rock band Coldplay is all set for their highly anticipated performances in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26. Frontman Chris Martin made a memorable arrival in the city, sharing the moment with fans in a fun and quirky way on Instagram.

On Friday evening, Coldplay’s official Instagram handle posted a video showing Chris Martin riding a pillion on a scooter in Ahmedabad. As the scooter sped down an empty street, Chris could be heard exclaiming, “What the heck!” The text accompanying the video reads, “Arriving in Ahmedabad.” The band also shared a front-angle picture of Chris dressed casually in a black T-shirt, olive green shorts, and white shoes, sitting on the white scooter.

The upcoming concerts will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, the world’s largest cricket stadium, which can accommodate over 1 lakh spectators. Coldplay will perform on January 25 and 26 as part of their Music of the Spheres India tour. The events are expected to attract a wide range of dignitaries and VVIPs from India and abroad.

The concert will begin at 5:30 pm and conclude by 10 pm, with the stadium gates opening for spectators at 2 pm. A comprehensive security plan has been implemented, including the deployment of 3,825 policemen and a team from the National Security Guard (NSG) and a special forces unit. For fans unable to attend in person, the concert will be livestreamed on Disney+ Hotstar.

Coldplay kicked off their India tour on January 18 in Mumbai, performing at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai over three days—January 18, 19, and 21. During their performances, the band gave shoutouts to actor Shah Rukh Khan and cricketer Jasprit Bumrah, and even apologized to India for the atrocities committed during the British Raj. Chris Martin also attended the five-year anniversary celebration of the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation during their Mumbai visit.

With anticipation building for their Ahmedabad concerts, Coldplay is set to deliver an unforgettable experience for fans in one of India’s largest and most iconic venues.
