Rajkummar Rao has warned his fans that using his name someone is trying to extort Rs 3 crores through fake emails. Rajkummar Rao has shared the screenshot of this fake email on his Instagram Story. In this post, Rajkummar Rao hashtagged Fake and wrote, “Friends, please beware of such fake people. I do not know anyone by the name Saumya. These people are using fake email ids and managers.”

Rajkummar Rao has shared the screenshot of this fake email which reads, “Hi Arjun, as per your and my manager Saumya’s your last conversation, I am ready to do the mentioned film ‘Honeymoon Package’ which is written by Santosh Maskey and he is also the director of this film. Since I am not physically present in Mumbai, I am sending my consent through this mail.”

It further reads, “The process of signing the film and narrating the script and the work of hard copy of the agreement will be done when I will come to Mumbai. This agreement will be considered only when the agreement signed amount of Rs 3,10,000,00 (50% of the total fee) is credited to my bank account or as mentioned by my manager that you are paying Rs 10 lakh in cash and 3 crore by cheque. I am comfortable listening to the story of the film on 6th January at Hyderabad Ranoji Studios. You, the Director and Producer are invited here with all mails. Regards- Rajkumar Rao.”
