Coronavirus Is Man Made Says ICMR Scientist

Earlier, the virus was dangerous only in animals, but later how it started wreaking havoc in people by changing its form definitely raises questions. It is possible that genetic engineering has happened in the virus. This is to say of Dr. Samiran Panda, Chief Epidemiologist at ICMR. In a special conversation, Dr. Samiran talked in detail about the changing nature of the coronavirus and all its conditions.

Coronavirus

The way the coronavirus is changing its form do you think this is a normal process?
In viruses that are RNA-based, these changes keep happening in the early stages. Since this is the beginning of the pandemic there will be so many changes in the virus. Similar changes were seen in the early stages of HIV before Corona.
Different experts of the world are looking at this change of virus as genetic engineering.

Do you believe that this virus has been prepared in the lab?
This cannot be denied. In our country also a group of scientists is researching this direction. But one thing is certain, the virus which was earlier dangerous only in animals, how did it become so dangerous in humans. This certainly raises doubts that genetic engineering has taken place in the virus. However, this can be confirmed only after clearing the results of the research.

Coronavirus

In our country, patients of Delta Plus are also being found. Is this a very dangerous form of virus?
See whether it is a very dangerous virus or not, it will be known only by the cases found and then by gene sequencing. Since it is a new virus form changed from the delta form of the coronavirus. But there is no strong evidence that this virus will cause as much destruction as it did in the second wave.

All the information is coming about the third wave. Is something like a third wave really predictable?
Now call it the third wave or something, but when a pandemic spreads, its results are seen for many years. Similar results were seen in the 1919 influenza virus pandemic. Then it appeared more or less the same in HIV. Similar situations happened during swine flu in 2009. The only difference is that during the onset of the pandemic, the situation becomes direr. However, in later years its effect starts to diminish.

How long is the impact of the coronavirus expected to last?
As long as the virus keeps changing its form and the antibodies of our body do not stand firm against it, its effect will be more visible. Vaccination greatly increases the ability of our body to fight against the virus, so it is being speculated that the corona wave will be controlled as soon as possible. Anyway, when the virus starts coordinating with the human body, then its effect is reduced to a great extent.
