Janhvi Kapoor welcomed Kamiya Jani, the creator of Curly Tales, to her house so they could have a brunch conversation. To her surprise, the actress recommended that the latter try a combination of idli and chicken curry.

Thus, during brunch, Curly Tales founder Kamiya Jani had a one-on-one conversation with Janhvi to give them a glimpse into her life.
Janhvi Kapoor asks Kamiya Jani to try i dli with chicken curry
Kamiya Jani made Janhvi a visit recently and had a long discussion about her personal and professional lives at her Bandra residence. In addition, the actress served the anchor a large home-cooked meal that included paneer bhurji, idli, chicken curry, and moong dal chilla, among other North and South Indian delicacies.
When they started eating, Janhvi suggested that Kamiya have idli with chicken curry. The creator of Curly Tales was taken aback by this combination and asked, “Wait. What? Chicken curry with idli?” She then further inquired if this combination was a legitimate thing or something that the actress had invented. Then, Janhvi was quoted as saying, “It’s a papa (Janhvi’s father, Boney Kapoor) thing.” Once Kamiya started having the food, she stated:
“So this is Boney sir’s special. Idli with chicken curry. I don’t know how many of you have actually tried it. Chicken curry on idli. I’m very nervous to try this.”

Janhvi also asked the Curly Tales founder to hold food in her hand. The latter responded by saying she had no idea how to eat idli by hand. However, Kamiya claimed that although the food tasted good, the actress’ recommended combination of idli and chicken curry was a “weird combination” after trying it.

Curly Tales posted this segment of the interview on their Instagram page. After Kamiya made her comments, some internet users began criticising her for the same things. One user stated: “She doesn’t know idli with chicken curry, so she gave her Aadhaar card.” Another penned: “It was one of those rare sights when the celeb was actually grounded and behaving normal, and the host had to prove that she isn’t desi enough to have ever eaten things like idli with hands.” Click here to watch.
