Pratyusha Banerjee left the world just at the age of 24. She committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her flat on April 1, 2016.

Actress Pratyusha Banerjee was born on 10 August 1991 at jamshedpur in a Bengali family. Her father Shankar Banerjee runs his own NGO. Pratyusha left Jamshedpur in 2010 and went to Mayanagri Mumbai to try her luck in the glamour industry. She made her debut with the television show ‘Rakt Sambandh’ in 2010. After this she appeared in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’,as best friend of Akshara(Hina khan),but she was recognized by ‘Balika Vadhu’.

Rahul denied this and said that she was under stress for not getting Vikram Bhatt’s film for a month. Also, He accused her parents that their relationship was not good with Pratyusha.

But in Investigation it was revealed that Pratyusha was the one who took all responsibility for her and Rahul both. From Electric Bills to Rent, Pratyusha was paying. In a post mortem report, it was revealed that she was pregnant and got aborted one or two weeks ago. Due to these allegations, Rahul had to remain in custody but after some time he got bailed. Rahul and Pratyusha were living in a live-in relationship.
