Deepika Padukone had told in an interview with Times of India that in the year 2014 she was battling depression. According to the actress, her mother Ujjala Padukone understood her pain due to her crying style at that time. His mother understood that he was in bigger trouble than a breakup or stress. According to Deepika, her mother had helped and advised her to overcome and fight this disease. Deepika had said, ‘Once my family came here to meet me when these people were going back and packing their bags, during that time I was present in their room and suddenly I started crying.’
The actress had told that ‘seeing me crying, my mother understood what was the matter. Although at that time he had asked the reason for my crying I could not tell him anything. It was his experience and presence of mind that inspired me to seek help. Let us tell you that Deepika helps other people suffering from depression.
