Deepika Slays, Huma Disappoints: Best and Worst Dressed at GQ Awards
Bollywood celebrities always try to look their best and when it’s about the most fashionable celeb award, they know how to pull up their socks and step out in their best fashionable avatars.
GQ Best Dressed Awards took place in Mumbai last week and it was a star-studded affair. Attending the prestigious award show were seen Bollywood biggies like Preity Zinta, Hrithik Roshan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kartik Aaryan and various others. And, the one who completely raised the glam quotient of the evening was none other than the wonder women of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone.
The actress opted to wear an all back-ensemble for the event. It seemed that the actress was making a comeback of her hot XXX avatar in her sheer Balmain dress by stylist ShaleenaNathani. She teamed it with a pair of faux-leather Saint Laurent shorts. She added a fun element as she accessorized her look with long danglers and a groovy hair braid. Without any doubt, she topped the look.
Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor grabbed all the attention as he elegantly teamed a formal blazer with oversized loose pants. What attracted us the most was his head mask of Bhavesh Joshi, a character from his upcoming movie. Isn’t its cool to wear a head-mask at a Celebs Fashion Award?
Preity Zinta played it smart as she wore a navy blue bodycon flare dress, which looked perfect on her curvaceous body. But her makeup just didn’t work well for us as it was too subtle for the glam evening.
Hrithik Roshan is truly the Greek God of Bollywood and he proves it time and again. The actor was seen putting his best fashion foot forward at the event. In a satin-sheen ivory blazer with tip to toe all black attire, Hrithik looked like nothing but a vision.
Huma Qureshi stepped out in an ivory pantsuit from Two Studio Two for the event. The actress teamed her long A-line jacket and flared pants with a grey collared top. But the actress still couldn’t make it to the list of best dressed and the credits for the same goes to her pantsuit which featured too many layers that only made her appear overdressed for the night.
Sidharth Malhotra chose to wear an all-white attire with ripped feathered detailing. This must be a tough choice to make but it went well for the eve.
Kartik played it safe as he wore a check blue suit. After the success of Sonukitittukisweety, this man has grown a lot more confident about his looks and this very much shows in his pics from the evening.
Harshvardhan Rane opted for a full cargo printed outfit which was so not meant for the award show. It looked like he had come out for a casual walk.
