Joe Jonas and Demi Moore could be the next big thing in Hollywood. The two celebrities are in the news because of their newfound friendship, which was created when they attended the Cannes Film Festival in May.

As they caught up at the event in the South of France, Demi, 61, and Joe, 34, appeared to be smiling broadly and were reportedly acting flirtatious, which sparked rumours that they were dating. Social media users are spreading images of the two having lunch together, which is stoking more rumours. Demi Moore attended the premiere of her upcoming horror film, The Substance, at the esteemed festival. Joe, meanwhile, unexpectedly showed up on stage to watch his brother Nick perform. As the two brothers performed the hit track ‘Cake by the Ocean,’ Demi was spotted in the audience, enjoying and dancing along with actress Michelle Yeoh.

Not only that, but later on in Antibes, France, Demi and Joe were spotted having lunch and chatting at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. Along with model Heidi Klum and actor Kevin Jonas, the two were grinning together. The two reportedly got together through mutual friends because Joe gets along well with Demi’s manager Jason Weinberg and stylist Brad Goreski.

Friendship or romance?

For now, sources close to Joe and Demi seem to be in a dilemma about whether the two share a romantic relationship or just a platonic friendship. While one source claimed that things were getting all lovey-dovey between the two, another revealed that they were just flirting in a friendly way.

“Demi and Joe have struck up a friendship. They have mutual friends, and they bonded,” said a source, as quoted by Page Six.

The previous year, Joe Jonas gained notoriety due to his contentious split from Sophie Turner, the Game of Thrones actress with whom he shared two daughters.
