Bollywood superstar Madhuri Dixit has started her new innings on OTT with ‘The Fame Game’. It is getting a good response from fans. In this series, Madhuri Dixit has played the role of a Bollywood star who is exposed to the part of the industry that the outside world cannot see. In a recent conversation, the actress revealed that her family never treated her differently even after becoming a star. Madhuri said that her upbringing was such that it never allowed fame to go to her head.

In her debut web series ‘The Fame Game’, Madhuri Dixit plays a Bollywood star who faces the dark side of fame and sees how her popularity negatively affects life. In a recent conversation, Madhuri said that she is lucky that she never had to face it in real life. He said that this was because she kept her personal and professional life separate. She further said that her upbringing was such that she never let fame go to her head. She also told how even after becoming a superstar, her mother Snehlata Dixit’s behaviour towards her never changed.

Speaking to ETimes, when asked if stardom affected her personal life, Madhuri said, “I mean, even when I was working in films, my mother used to scold me. If my room was scattered, if it was spread, I would have been scolded by my mother. That’s how I was brought up. And so am I. When I go home, everything else is left in the studio. I look at my kids and I look at my husband and it’s a different life altogether. I never really lost myself.”

Talking about Madhuri’s film career, she made her debut with the 1984 film Abodh. After that, she had worked in Dayavan, Ram Lakhan, Prem Pratigyaa, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Dil To Pagal Hai, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Devdas, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Dedh Ishqiya, Gulaab Gang, Total Dhamaal and Kalank. .
