Did Ayushmann Khurrana Reduce His Fees After Flop Films?

It cannot be denied that the year 2022 has been quite disappointing for Bollywood. Bollywood films had to bear the loss of the growing dominance of South films at the box office. The films released this year by many big superstars were flops badly. At the same time, actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s films also could not do anything special at the box office this year. Meanwhile, a big update related to Ayushmann, who is famous for doing out-of-the-box films, has come to the fore.

Actually, Ayushmann Khurrana has cut his fees. Let us inform that Ayushmann is maintaining his price point of 25 crores as signing fee, but he has changed this fee structure during the pandemic for the interest of the producers. For the films he has signed during or just after the pandemic, Ayushmann has charged only Rs 15 crore as a signing fee instead of 25. The remaining Rs 10 crore and the profit share will depend on the outcome of the film. If the film turns out to be a blockbuster and earns more profits then its producers will also benefit, as the entire cost of Ayushmann does not burden the start of a project.

Some media reports claimed that Ayushmann Khurrana has cut his fees in view of the poor performance of his previous films. Actually, the performance of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Anek and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui was not as expected. In such a situation, it was claimed that Ayushmann has reduced his fees by Rs 10 crore, while this is not true.

On the work front, the actor was last seen in the film Anek. Apart from this, the actor will soon be seen in the film Doctor G. The film marks the directorial debut of Anurag Kashyap’s sister Anubhuti. Ayushmann will be seen in the role of a gynecologist in the film. Apart from Doctor G, Ayushmann Khurrana will also entertain the audience through films An Action Hero and Dream Girl 2. Ananya Panday will be seen sharing the screen with him in Dream Girl 2.
