Shah Rukh Khan is frequently a soft target for everything he does on the internet. Following his attendance at Lata’s funeral, the actor is now embroiled in controversy. He was observed praying and afterward blowing air from his mouth over her lifeless remains, a standard ritual in Islam.

The internet is split, with some claiming that the actor spits on Lata Didi’s mortal remains while others praise him and describe him as the perfect emblem of India’s democracy.

The Video

In the Lata Mangeshkar spit scandal, an old video of Shah Rukh Khan talking about how his ancestors fought for India’s independence is becoming viral.

The actor states in the video, “Ownership does not imply that this is our India.” It is what we must do for the sake of the country. People who do not consider themselves Indians are called anti-nationals or anti-social.

Since my family has fought for our nation, I am saddened. Reading about such things makes me even sadder since it contradicts what my father taught me: “Keep this nation free, as I gave it to you.”

Raghav Juyal, a choreographer and presenter, posted the video and expressed his support for SRK, writing, ” Shah Rukh Khan had long and illustrious popularity. Even two decades later, his views on freedom of expression, patriotism, and anti-nationals ring true.

His Father The Freedom Fighter

SRK’s father was born in 1927, making him around 15 years old at the Quit India movement in 1942. Mir Taj Mohammad Khan, SRK’s father, was one of the Quit India Movement’s youngest independence fighters.

A biography of Shah Rukh Khan, the “King of Bollywood,” also includes information on his father. The Quit India campaign began in August 1942, and 60,000 people were arrested, including Congress leaders and Mir Taj Mohammad Khan, who spent the next two years in and out of jail. In 1946, he moved to Delhi from Peshawar and studied law at Delhi University.

No one knows when Mir Taj Mohammad Khan joined the ‘Khudai Khidmatgar’ group, according to another book titled ‘Shahrukh Khan – The Story of the Man.’ In contrast, Shah Rukh Khan states that his father was the “youngest independence fighter.”
