After a gap of 22 years, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are once again coming to win the hearts of audience with the sequel to their blockbuster drama ‘Gadar’. The teaser of the film has been appreciated by the masses who are eagerly waiting for the film to hit theatres. Sunny and Ameesha are reprising their roles of Tara Singh and Sakina in the upcoming film. But in the meantime, a surprising news related to the film is coming out.

Actually, the lead actress of the film, Ameesha, has mentioned on social media some of the problems faced during the shooting of the last schedule of ‘Gadar 2’ in Chandigarh in May. The actress made this disclosure on Twitter. In a tweet, she wrote that the production of the film was handled by director Anil Sharma’s production house. But it has not given salaries to many employees like make-up artists and costume designers.

Furthermore, Ameesha revealed that besides the salary, all these did not receive any reimbursement for the expenses incurred while on the shooting location and bills like flight tickets. There were even many people who came for the shooting on their own. No car was provided to them, due to which they were stranded on the way.

Ameesha shared how after seeing all the problems, Zee Studios intervened and took action. They paid everyone’s money. In the tweet, the actress specially thanked Shariq Patel, Neeraj Joshi, Kabir Ghosh and Nishit from Zee Studios.

For the unknown, ‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’ is directed by Anil Sharma. It is going to be released in theatres on August 11 this year. It will clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ on the box office.
