Singer Diljit Dosanjh recently opened up about the advisory issued to him ahead of his Mumbai concert. Taking to Instagram, Diljit shared his thoughts in a lighthearted video, reassuring fans that despite the challenges, he would ensure an unforgettable experience for his audience.
The video began with Diljit revealing that he had asked his team the day before his performance whether any advisory had been issued. His team had assured him that everything was fine, but upon waking up, Diljit learned that an advisory had indeed been issued. With a smile, he told his fans, “Don’t worry, all advisories are for me. You’ve come to have fun, I’ll make sure you have double the fun.”

Diljit also reflected on life’s challenges, comparing them to the story of Sagar Manthan—the churning of the ocean in Hindu mythology. He spoke of how the Devtas (gods) consumed amrit (holy nectar), while Lord Shiva bravely drank the poison. However, Shiva kept the poison in his throat, never allowing it to affect him. Diljit explained, “I’ve learned that no matter how much poison life and people throw at you, you should never let it inside.” He emphasized the importance of staying focused and not letting negativity affect one’s work. “People will try to interrupt you, but never let that disturb you,” Diljit advised.
The video ended with Diljit playfully referencing the popular Pushpa: The Rise dialogue by Allu Arjun, further showcasing his positive attitude. The video was captioned, “The positive you see in me is a reflection of you.”
Along with this message, Diljit also shared a video from his Mumbai tour, captioning it, “Mumbai. I rise above your advice.” This isn’t the first time Diljit has faced such advisories. He had similar notices issued for his concerts in Hyderabad and Chandigarh.
Fans expressed their admiration for Diljit’s positivity and confidence. One fan jokingly suggested a “De-stress with @diljitdosanjh spiritual retreat tour.” Another commented, “Diljit truly has an unmatched vibe! His positivity, humility, and energy make him stand out.” Others praised his ability to connect with his audience, calling his performances “uplifting” and “unforgettable.”
Diljit, currently on his Dil-Luminati India Tour, kicked off the tour on October 26 in New Delhi. After his Mumbai concert, he will perform in Guwahati on December 29, concluding the over two-month-long tour. Prior to Mumbai, Diljit had also been sharing scenic moments from his visit to Kashmir.
