According to police reports, the shooters, identified as Arun and Ravindra, were each struck by two bullets in the chest during the exchange of fire.

One of the bullets passed completely through the body. Their post-mortem examinations will be conducted in Ghaziabad, and the entire process will be recorded on video. Although the families of the accused were informed, no relatives arrived to claim the bodies. Security outside Disha Patani’s residence has been tightened following the incident. The entire area now resembles a security cantonment, with an iron gate installed at the colony entrance and round-the-clock surveillance of every house in the vicinity.

The attack occurred on September 11, when Arun and Ravindra opened fire at Jagdish Singh Patani’s house after eating and resting at a Rampur hotel. After the firing, they stopped at a tea stall for about 22 minutes, where CCTV cameras captured crucial evidence. Despite attempting to hide their bike’s number plate with tape, Ravindra’s distinctive red shoes helped police track them. The STF finally cornered the duo in Ghaziabad, where they were fatally injured and later declared dead at the hospital.
