The Manhattan District Attorney’s office made public several text messages and an audio recording, presented in court last week, according to Variety. In a particular text, the 34-year-old actor expressed, “I will probably [k]ill myself. It’s not really contemplating any more …I’m a monster. A horrible man. Not capable of love. I am killing myself soon. I’ve already put things in motion.”

Following Jonathan Majors’ claim that Grace Jabbari, 30, hadn’t shown him love that morning, he subsequently issued a threat of self-harm. In response to Majors’ assertion, he stated, “I gave you love last night and this morning before I got out of bed. When you got up you were not full of love at all, I didn’t feel it at all. You could have just given me a hug or walked close to me or asked me if you could give me a hug, not the other way around. It works both ways.”

Jabbari, in turn, responded by pleading with Majors to refrain from harming himself. She expressed concern, stating, “Jonathan, you can’t say this. I’m going to have to call someone,” and apologized for not hugging him that morning. She also reminded Majors of his 9-year-old daughter, Ella.

Majors’ trial commenced late last month after multiple delays. The actor was arrested in March on charges of assaulting a woman identified as Jabbari. Three days later, he was arraigned and faced charges of assault and harassment. Majors, maintaining his innocence, pleaded not guilty to the allegations against him.

Disturbing Dynamics: Jonathan Majors’ Court Revelations

During court proceedings last week, another message surfaced in which Jonathan Majors seemingly discouraged Grace Jabbari from seeking medical treatment for a head injury. He expressed concern, stating, “I fear you have no perspective of what could happen if you go to the hospital. They will ask you questions, and as I don’t think you actually protect us, it could lead to an investigation even if you do lie, and they suspect something.”

In response, Jabbari conveyed her intentions, stating, “I will tell the doctor I bumped my head. If I go, I’m going to give it one more day, but I can’t sleep and need some stronger painkillers. That’s all. Why would I want to tell them what really happened when it’s clear I want to be with you.”

Apart from the text messages, an audio clip from an argument between Majors and Jabbari was released. In the clip, Majors asserted that she “has to be of a certain mindset” to be his partner, drawing parallels with historical figures like Coretta Scott King and Michelle Obama. He emphasized his role as a great man doing significant things for his culture and the world, highlighting the sacrifices expected from his partner.

Notably, Majors filed a domestic violence claim against Jabbari in June, alleging her aggression in the March altercation. Jabbari was subsequently arrested on assault and criminal mischief charges in October, but prosecutors dropped all charges against her shortly thereafter.
