The blame game between the ex-couple, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen is refusing to take a backseat. As their divorce is underway, the two are coming up with serious allegations against each other almost every day. Recently, when Asopa accused Sen of cheating on her, he in his reply alleged her to be romantically involved with TV actor Karan Mehra.

In a recent interaction with a leading daily, Charu revealed how Rajeev’s family expected her to be mature to make the marriage work. With tears in her eyes, Charu shared that her estranged husband once disappeared for 3 months and blocked her on the phone. His family, who is also annoyed with his habits then asked her to quit working for 6 months, and start cooking for him as this would make him very happy.

The Mere Angne Mein actress also disclosed that Rajeev told her if she continued to work, then their marriage would never work. She stated, “He would say such cheap things when I would go for auditions. He would send me messages. He was always suspicious about me and would link me up with anyone. There was a time when I would get scared of stepping out of the house thinking it would upset Rajeev. Kahin unka mood Na kharab hojaaye.”

Let us tell you that Charu’s first marriage didn’t work. And so, she wanted her second marriage to work at any cost because if faced any issues this time, the onus would have been on her. The actress said that she was always under pressure from her family’s side to make things work out with Rajeev. Otherwise, people would taunt her saying ‘Iss ladki mein hi problem hai, Tabhi dusri Shaadi nahi Tikki’. She asserted that she put in a lot of effort which made her frustrated many a time.

For the unknown, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen decided to part ways after giving their marriage a second chance. They tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed their firstborn, Ziana in 2021.
