Director Vivek Agnihotri has been in the limelight ever since the release of the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ on the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits was released in theatres. Recently, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made an objectionable statement against making ‘The Kashmir Files’ tax-free in the capital. The CM said that “BJP is demanding tax-free ‘The Kashmir Files’ in Delhi should upload the film on YouTube. By doing this everyone will be able to enjoy the film for free.” After this statement of the Chief Minister, now the reaction of director Vivek Agnihotri and actor Anupam Kher has come to the fore.

He further said, “All the three categories of fools, madmen, and idiots should be avoided in your life, they should not be answered.”
Earlier, veteran actor Anupam Kher, who played the lead role in the film, had also reacted to the Chief Minister’s remarks. He tweeted and wrote, “Now friends, go and watch ‘The Kashmir Files’ in the cinema hall itself. You people got to know the misery of Kashmiri Hindus after 32 years. Understand the atrocities done to them. Show sympathy to them. But Those who are making fun of it, please make them feel your power.”
