‘Don’t Want To Do Intimate Scenes’: Ameesha Patel On Rejecting OTT Shows!

Renowned Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel is winning hearts with her comeback film ‘Gadar 2’. She is currently enjoying the massive success of her movie. The actress who has been on a hiatus earlier expressed her opinion on digital shows. She said that OTT is full of gay-lesbian content, something which is not appropriate for people to watch with their families. Ameesha received a lot of flak for her comments. Now, in a recent interview, the actress cleared that she is not homophobic. She also revealed the reason behind rejecting digital shows.

Ameesha said that what made her stay away from OTT was her ardent fan base. She shared that she doesn’t want to disappoint her admirers by doing shows that involve use of abusive language and feature sexually intimate scenes.

Furthermore, the actress said that her comment on type of content on digital platforms was taken in a wrong way. She mentioned that she has nothing against what is going on OTT at all but she only used to hear from people that they have a child lock on for a lot of content on OTT because they cannot watch those shows with a family audience. 90 per cent of the content on OTT has abuses, nudity and too much of dark topics.
