Jacqueline Fernandez took gifts of Rs 10 crore including a horse that costs 52 lakh,4 Persian cats cost 36 lakh, jewellery, Diamonds, and money from conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, Revealed in ED’s charge-sheet.

Who is Sukesh Chandrashekhar?

Sukesh Chandrashekar is accused of running an extortion racket worth Rs 200 crore from inside the Tihar jail.

The Delhi Police has charged Sukesh Chandrashekhar and 13 others with defrauding the wife of Ranbaxy’s former promoter to the tune of Rs 200 crore in its charge sheet. Officials believe Chandrashekhar extorted Rs 200 crore from the complainant by claiming he could help her husband get out of jail.

Now ED revealed in their charge sheet that Sukesh gave gifts to the actress worth 10 crores in which a horse of 52 lakhs, 4 Persian cats each of 9 lakhs, crockeries, jewellery, and Diamonds. It is also said that Sukesh gave a huge sum of cash to Jacqueline’s relatives.

Along with Miss Fernandez, Nora Fatehi’s name is also there in the chargesheet who have been interrogated in the matter. Jacqueline Fernandez and her associates have also been questioned. Chandrashekhar had earlier told the media that he had gifted a car to Nora Fatehi.

According to sources and chargesheet, Chandrashekhar and Jacqueline started talking in January 2021 and further Sukesh started sending her luxurious gifts. The investigating agency has also said that Jacqueline Fernandez used to talk to Chandrashekhar on phone during his stay in jail.

According to sources, the agency revealed in their chargesheet that after granting bail, Sukesh booked a chartered flight ticket from Mumbai to Delhi and the other from Delhi to Chennai for Jacqueline Fernandez.

It is also mentioned that they both stayed together at a Hotel in Chennai whose photos got viral on the internet. Total 8 crores were spent on chartered flights. Not only this, but ED also revealed that Sukesh gave a huge amount of money to Jacqueline’s relatives.

On the other hand, Conman Sukesh gave a BMW car and an iPhone to Nora Fatehi as a gift which is a total of rupees 1 crore worth. Before this, a representative of Nora Fatehi had said that she “has been a victim”. “She doesn’t know or has any personal relationship with the accused and the ED has called her strictly to help in the investigation,”.

The representative said that the actress is cooperating with the investigation.
