Elli AvrRam Shares Heartfelt Tribute Following Grandmother’s Passing

Actress Elli AvrRam is mourning the death of her grandmother, who passed away on August 31. The actress shared the news on social media, posting a heartfelt tribute that included cherished photos and videos of their time together.

​On Tuesday, Elli posted a series of memories on Instagram, capturing their close bond. The tribute included a clip of them laughing with a mustache filter, another showing them dancing, and a third with Elli showering her grandmother with kisses. The final image was a touching black-and-white photo of her holding her grandmother’s hand.

​Along with the tribute, Elli penned a sweet and emotional message. “RIP Jiajiam 31-08-2025,” she wrote. “It’s been a blessing to grow up with my grandparents. Despite the heartbreak of knowing my grandmother’s journey has now ended in this dimension, I’m at peace, knowing she’s now united with Papou (grandpa) M.”

​She recalled their time together, saying, “All I can do is remember all the beautiful moments I’ve shared with her since childhood. She had the funniest dark humour, and our kitchen conversations were always endless. Many of you witnessed her on my stories over the years, until dementia took over too much… Mou lipis Jiajiam s’agapo gia panda. Om Shanti.” The post was met with an outpouring of support from her industry colleagues, including Zareen Khan, Maniesh Paul, and Sangeeta Bijlani.

​On the work front, Elli recently had a cameo in the film Be Happy, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Nora Fatehi. She also appeared in a music video, “Chandaniya,” with YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, a collaboration that sparked dating rumors which she later clarified were for promotional purposes only. Elli has not yet announced her next project.
