Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, has become a father for the seventh time at the age of 50. Tesla company owner Elon Musk and his wife Hollywood singer Grimes have welcomed their daughter through surrogacy. Grimes, 33, has revealed this in the issue of Vanity Fair magazine. According to reports, the couple has become parents to a daughter in 2021, about which they have now disclosed. Grimes is Elon Musk’s second wife, both of whom have a son who is currently two years old. Before this, Elon Musk has five sons (two twins and three triplets) from his first wife Justin Wilson.

He has kept the names of all the children very different and this time also he has named his daughter very strange, which means very special. According to Vanity Fair, both have named their daughter Exa dark sidereal and their daughter’s nickname is Y.

Regarding the name of Vanity Fair, Grimes told that Exa refers to the supercomputing term exaFLOPS, while the word Dark represents the ‘unknown’. She said, ‘People are afraid of it but it is not just the absence of photons, dark matter is a beautiful mystery of the universe.’ The last part of the name i.e. Siderael is pronounced ‘Sigh-deer-ee-el’.

Grimes

This is the Elven spelling of Sidereal which means the exact time of the universe, the time of the star, and deep space which is separate from the earth. Elon Musk’s daughter’s name is also dedicated to Galadriel, his wife Grimes’ favorite character in his favorite movie Lord of the Rings. Grimes revealed that she wanted to name her daughter Odysseus Musk and was fighting for it, but she later named her daughter Exa Dark Sidereal.

Elon Musk and Grimes broke up in September 2021, after being with each other for several years. Grimes later revealed during an interview that she and Elon were once again together. She said that I call him boyfriend but our relationship is very fluid.
