Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, died at the age of 54. People verified the news with Priscilla’s statement, which stated, “It is with a sad heart that I must convey the tragic news that my lovely daughter Lisa Marie has left us” on Thursday.

Lisa Marie’s mother also gave her homage, describing her as the “passionate, powerful, and loving lady” she has ever known.

Lisa Marie Presley’s death comes after it was reported on Thursday morning that she was transported to the hospital after suffering a potential heart attack.

According to a representative for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, paramedics were called to the 5900 block of Normandy Drive in Calabasas to treat a lady in her 50s who was not breathing.

According to the statement, once the paramedics started CPR and noticed the woman showed “signs of life,” they moved her to medical treatment.

Lisa Marie Presley was said to be in severe condition after being hospitalized, and earlier reports stated she had gone into a coma. The singer was born on February 1, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee, nine months after Elvis and Priscilla married.

Lisa Marie went to Los Angeles with her mother when she was four years old, following her parents’ divorce in 1973.

The news of Lisa Marie Presley’s death came as a huge shock, especially since she was recently seen in good health as she attended the Golden Globes 2023 awards ceremony alongside her mother to support Austin Butler, who won best performance in a drama for his portrayal of her father in Baz Luhrman’s Elvis.

The singer was also spotted crying as she watched Butler’s winning speech, in which he thanked her and her mother, adding, “Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever.”
