Bhavya Rajpal: Absolutely, it’s a pleasure to be here.

Let’s dive right in. What inspired you to launch Siracilt Skincare?

Paridhi: ‘Sira’ translates to ‘approach’ in Bambara language, while ‘Cilt’ signifies ‘skin’ in Turkish. It may refer to a structured and systematic approach to skincare or maintaining the health and condition of one’s skin. The primary inspiration for SIRACILT is rooted in a timeless skincare saying: “If we take care of our skin, we tend to look younger as we age.” This encapsulates the belief that by nurturing and preserving our skin’s health, we can maintain a youthful appearance. 

Additionally, through my own experience, I have witnessed that having clear, healthy skin instills confidence, which is a profound inspiration for me. It drives SIRACILT’s mission to provide effective skincare solutions that not only promote physical well-being but also bolster self-assurance.

Bhavya: We wanted to create a skincare range that not only delivered visible results but also nurtured and nourished the skin from within. That’s when we decided to embark on the journey of launching Siracilt Skincare, with a focus on science-backed formulations and premium ingredients. Our goal was to empower individuals to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.

That’s commendable. Could you tell us about the star ingredients in your skincare range?

Paridhi: Of course. One of the key ingredients in our range is Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA). PEA is a naturally occurring fatty acid amide found in the human body. It has anti-inflammatory properties, making it ideal for soothing irritated skin and reducing redness.

Another star ingredient in our range is Lactoferrin. Lactoferrin is a multifunctional protein found in milk and other bodily fluids. It has powerful antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, helping to protect the skin from environmental damage and promote a healthy complexion.

Fascinating. How did you decide to incorporate these ingredients into your skincare range?

Bhavya: Our decision to use Palmitoylethanolamide and Lactoferrin was driven by extensive research and testing. We wanted ingredients that were not only proven effective but also gentle and safe for all skin types. We worked closely with skincare experts to ensure that our formulations were both potent and gentle. Palmitoylethanolamide and Lactoferrin stood out to us for their impressive efficacy and compatibility with sensitive skin.

Paridhi: After studying the scientific literatures and consulting with experts in the field, we were convinced that Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) and Lactoferrin were the ideal ingredients to address a wide range of skin concerns, from inflammation to acne. We then worked closely with our formulation team to develop formulations that maximize the benefits of these ingredients while maintaining safety and efficacy.

A lot of thought and care went into the development of your products. Can you walk us through the process of creating your skincare range?

Bhavya: Certainly. The journey began with identifying the key concerns that our customers faced, such as acne, inflammation, and dryness. From there, we researched various ingredients and formulations that could effectively address these issues.

Paridhi: (Nods approvingly) Then we conducted extensive ingredient testing and formulation trials to ensure that each product in our range delivered tangible results. It was important to us that our skincare range not only looked good on paper but also performed exceptionally well in real-world settings.

It is clear that science plays a central role in your product development process. Can you share some insights into how you balance science and innovation with consumer needs and preferences?

Paridhi: Balancing science and innovation with consumer needs and preferences is indeed a delicate process. At Siracilt Skincare, we believe in a customer-centric approach to product development. We start by identifying the specific skincare concerns and preferences of our target audience through market research and consumer feedback.

Bhavya: We then leverage scientific research and technological advancements to develop innovative formulations that address these needs effectively. Throughout the development process, we prioritize safety, efficacy, and user experience to ensure that our products not only meet but also exceed consumer expectations.

What were some of the challenges you faced along the way?

Paridhi: One of the biggest challenges we encountered was sourcing high-quality ingredients at scale. We wanted to ensure that our products were not only effective but also ethically sourced and sustainable.

Bhavya: Additionally, navigating the regulatory landscape in the skincare industry was quite challenging. There are strict regulations governing the formulation and labeling of skincare products, and ensuring compliance required meticulous attention to detail.

Despite the challenges, you have managed to create a remarkable skincare range. What sets Siracilt Skincare apart from other brands on the market?

Bhavya: (smiles enthusiastically) One of the key differentiators of Siracilt Skincare is our focus on science-backed ingredients. We are constantly staying abreast of the latest research and innovations in skincare to ensure that our products deliver optimal results.

We are continuously exploring new ingredients, technologies, and formulations to further enhance our product range and deliver even better results for our customers. We are also exploring options into expanding our presence in both domestic and international markets to reach a wider audience and make a positive impact on global skincare.

Bhavya: Additionally, we are passionate about education and advocacy in the skincare community. We want to empower consumers to make informed choices about their skincare routine and debunk common myths and misconceptions.
