‘Embryo Transfer Cost Is…’, Debina Bonnerjee Reveals Why She Opted For Expensive IVF Process!

TV actress Debina Bonnerjee is quite famous on social media. She keeps sharing about her personal life through posts and vlogs. The last two years have been like a blessing for the actress who was trying to conceive from a long time. Debina gave birth to her first child, Lianna through IVF (in vitro fertilisation) while her second kid, Divisha was conceived naturally. In a recent interview, the actress opened up on her decision to go for IVF. She also revealed the cost of the expensive process.

Debina talks about her IVF journey

Talking about how she embraced motherhood for the first time, Debina told ETimes that her doctors advised her to get IUI i.e. intrauterine insemination. In this, a semen analysis of husband is done, fertile days are calculated and then doctors give a few injections. However, it did not work for her. The actress then shared that the best way left for her to conceive was IVF.

Disclosing more about her IVF journey, Debina stated, “The cost of embryo transfer is Rs. 30,000 and it also depends on the hospital. I had an IVF conception. Initially, I was scared but not anymore. When people question why I opted for IVF transfer, I would like to tell them that when something doesn’t happen over a period of time, I can’t waste time thinking why it is not working. I tried through this process and after 5 years I was blessed with Lianna.”

When Debina opened up on issues in conceiving a baby

Before this, Debina has opened up on choosing IVF in one of her vlogs too. She had shared that she visited gynecologists, IVF specialists, etc. to find out what problem she had. She found out to be having endometriosis. To treat this, she did whatever possible treatments were available including acupuncture, a therapy where they remove all the toxins from body. but nothing worked in her favour.

For the unversed, Debina Bonnerjee welcomed her first born, Lianna with husband Gurmeet Choudhary in April 2022. The couple became parents to their second bundle of joy, Divisha in the same year in November.
