Actor Vishak Nair recently joined the cast of The Emergency starring Kangana Ranaut. On Tuesday, Kangana introduced vishak on Instagram and announced that he would take on the role of Sanjay Gandhi, the son of politician and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He also got a glimpse of his first impressions of the film.
Kangana shared a poster showing Vishak wearing wide-rimmed glasses and wearing Sanjay’s famous white outfit. In the post, she explained, “By the power of @nair.vishak’s talent as Sanjay Gandhi; Sanjay is the soul of Indira… the person she loved and lost… an emergency.” Some fans reacted to this as “astounding”. One person wrote: “This is amazing.”
Vishak shared the poster on Instagram, writing, “I am honored to play the role of Sanjay Gandhi in the enigmatic Sanjay Gandhi where ambition overflows. I’m honored to be part of the amazing team led by @kanganaranaut.” Roshan Matthews commented on the post: “Congratulations.” Vishak replied, “Thank you.”
Regarding the characters of Vishak and Sanjay, Kangana said, “Sanjay was one of the most important people in Mrs. Gandhi’s life. To do this, she needed someone who could play a completely pure and insightful person. He was just as competent and knowledgeable. . This rich and equally passionate man needs a lot of nuance and can handle all kinds of emotions.”
