Bollywood diva Esha Gupta often stuns with her strong social media presence. She is known for posting bold and brave pictures on Instagram. After winning Miss India International 2007, the actress made her debut with ‘Jannat 2’ opposite Emraan Hashmi. She won critical acclaim for her role and went on to star in films like ‘Raaz 3D’, ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’, ‘Humshakals’, ‘Baby’, ‘Total Dhamaal’, ‘Rustom’, ‘Baadshaaho’, and others. However, reaching the present stage in her career was no cakewalk for Esha. She battled a lot of bad experiences including the ‘casting couch’.

In a recent interview with SpotBoye, the actress recalled how she was twice asked to compromise during shooting. Opening up on one of the scary incidents, Esha shared that post filming half of a movie, the filmmaker asked her for sexual favours. When she refused to give in, the co-producer told the maker that he did not want to see her in the film. After this, some filmmakers even refused to cast her in films. The actress stated, “I had heard that these people used to say about me that if I won’t do anything then what is the point of taking me in the film?”

Further in the conversation, Esha recollected how she was once scared of someone barging into her room during an outdoor shoot. She told that two people tried to trap her in casting couch. The actress had understood that but still did the film because it was a small move from their side. They thought that she would fall into his trap during the outdoor shoot. But Esha was smart and hence, planned to not sleep alone. She made her makeup artist to stay with her in the same room.
