Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasrin is famous for putting across her point of view on social media in a fearless manner. She has written many notable books till now. Recently, Nasrin commented on the alleged marriage of actress-dancer Rakhi Sawant with Adil Khan Durrani.

Taslima’s take on Rakhi-Adil’s wedding

Taslima gave strong opinion on Rakhi’s wedding as well as on Islam. She said that Rakhi had to change her religion to Islam before marrying a Muslim guy. With Rakhi’s example, she explained how Islam should evolve and normalize marriages between Non-Muslims and Muslims.

Taking to Twitter, the author of French Lover wrote, “Even Rakhi Sawant had to convert to Islam because she married a man who was a Muslim. Islam, like other religions, should grow and accept marriage between Muslims and Non-Muslims.

Continuing her point further, the writer stated, “Islam must evolve and things must be critical, free speech, equality of women, atheism, secularism, rationalism, rights of Non-Muslims, human rights, civilization etc. should be accepted. Otherwise it would have no place in modern society.”

Rakhi-Adil’s marriage

Rakhi’s wedding photos with beau Adil along with the alleged picture of their marriage certificate went viral on social media two days ago. In their Nikahnama, Rakhi’s name can be seen written as Fatima instead of Rakhi Sawant.

Later, Rakhi Sawant also came to the forefront and confessed that she married Adil seven months ago on May 29, 2022. The ceremony took place at Rakhi’s house in Oshiwara, Mumbai and the bride was given a security deposit of Rs. 51,786.
