After the alleged incident took place between 12.30 am and 1 am at Patil’s home at Sai Leela building in Oshiwara, his family members rushed him to a hospital where his condition was stated to be ‘critical’, according to his manager Pari Naaz.

Pari Naaz said Manoj Patil had a few days back submitted a letter to the Oshiwara police, demanding action against a Bollywood actor for allegedly defaming him on social media and creating problems in his professional life.

She said that they had demanded an FIR to be lodged against the actor. Speaking to a leading daily about it, Sahil Khan said, “I had met a boy named Raj Faujdar on a social networking site. He is from Delhi and had made a video that Manoj Patil took 2 lakhs from him and sold him expired steroids after which it developed some heart problems and skin issues as well to him. Faujdar has all the necessary bills and receipts of financial transactions. He wanted social media support, so I posted his video on my social media platforms asking people to support Faujdar. I also said that the steroids racket should stop. Faujdar had said Manoj Patil was not returning his money and he had even sold his motorcycle to arrange for funds.”

Meanwhile, an official at the Oshiwara police station said no FIR has been registered so far. He further added, “Our official visited the Cooper Hospital where Patil is admitted”.
