Now, according to the latest report, Aryan Khan and the others arrested by the NCB in the case including two women were counseled by NGO workers and NCB officials including Sameer Wankhede. During the counseling session, Aryan has assured NCB officials during counseling that after his release, he will work for the ‘social and financial uplift of the poor and downtrodden’ and never do anything which could bring him publicity for the wrong reasons, an official said on Saturday.
According to sources of NCB, Aryan Khan has also promised Sameer Wankhede, zonal director of NCB’s Mumbai unit, that he would do good work and make him proud one day. NCB sources have revealed that Aryan Khan promised to be a good man after getting out of jail during the counseling. He has also assured of shunning the wrong path.
He said, “I will do something that will make you proud of me,” the official added. Recently, Aryan also received the money order of Rs 4,500 from his family.
Aryan who is currently in the general cell of Arthur Road prison was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau following an alleged drug seizure from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 2. On October 7, Aryan Khan was sent to 14-day judicial custody. He was shifted from NCB custody to Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai the next day. His bail plea also got rejected multiple times till now. A special court for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act cases would pass the order on Aryan Khan’s bail plea on October 20.
