Mrunal had become a brand from Uttaran so I feel that has really helped me boost my career and it’s really taken me to the next level. So Uttaran’s every scene and every character has been very special to me.”
Talking about Rashami, who is right now climbing the ladder of success, brother, Mrunal said, “I think so Rashmi herself is a very strong fighter in life. She is one person who doesn’t give up on her dreams or standing up for her rights. So I think so that is always going to be there and her journey has been successful. She is not only a talented actress but also a graceful dancer. She has always kept herself grooming and I feel, the kind of work she has done in her career is commendable and she never stopped learning in her life. I think that is the best part of her and whatever said and done, to see her rising just makes me feel proud because her hard work definitely pays off and as a brother, I would be standing all my life with her.”
When the reporter popped up the question of whether Mrunal would ever be a part of Bigg Boss, the actor replied, “No, never for Big Boss.”
A few days back, Mrunal also opened up on how Akshay and Ranveer were as co-stars. Sharing his experience, Mrunal said, “Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar’s energy had a positive impact on me. There were no borders. They were warm and welcomed the newcomers on set with open arms. So that was something that got me comfortable and that was the best thing I could have asked for.”
Speaking about his role Mrunal earlier revealed, “I am playing the antagonist in Sooryavanshi. It is fantastic to work with Rohit Shetty. To work in a film that has Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, and Akshay Kumar surely matters. In my last show (Nagarjuna — Ek Yoddha) also I played Antagonist. I want to strike a balance between TV and films”.The actor has praised Rohit Shetty in the past. He said that the director knows the exact nerve of the audience.
Mrunal’s film Sooryavanshi was slated to release in March 2020. But due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdown, it kept on getting postponed. The producers of the film are still waiting for the theatres to open up as they are not willing to release the film on OTT.
