Actress Bhumi Pednekar is currently in the spotlight for her upcoming crime thriller film ‘Bhakshak,’ while former Bihar legislator Brajesh Thakur and 11 others have been sentenced to life imprisonment for the alleged exploitation of numerous girls.
Bhumi Pednekar Shares A Harassment Incident In Her Latest Interview
In this movie, she will portray the fight for those girls who were subjected to the administration of intoxicating substances.
The actress is presently engaged in promoting the movie and has shared an incident of harassment that occurred during an event.
The incident of molestation of Bhumi Pednekar happened when she was only 14 years old. Bhumi Pednekar said, “I remember that incident very well. At that time a fair was often held in Bandra, Mumbai.”
“At that time, I was a teenager of about 14 years and was with my family. I knew what was happening. I was walking and someone was pinching me from behind. I looked back, but could not understand who was doing this because there was a huge crowd,” she added.
Bhakshak Actress further said, “Someone was constantly touching me inappropriately. I was badly hurt, even though I was with my family.
Many children from my building were also present there, but I did not say anything at that time, because I was deeply disappointed by that incident.”
In the end, Bhumi Pednekar said, “When you face such incidents, you feel overwhelmed. You don’t know what to do. You feel demeaned within yourself.” It’s worth noting that she appeared in four films in 2023 – ‘Bheed,’ ‘Afwaah,’ and ‘Thank You for Coming,’ receiving positive reviews.
