Actor and model Nitin Chauhan who is popularly known for his role in Crime Patrol has put an end to rumors of his death days after his same-namesake ‘MTV Splitsvilla 5’ fame Nitin Chauhan committed suicide undergoing some personal issues. After being fed up with all the rumors that he came across about his demise, he wrote a note on his official Instagram handle expressing his condolences to Chauhan’s family and said that despite the same name, they were two different individuals and he is still alive.

Nitin, who is alive, shared a video message for his fans and wrote that his mother is crying inconsolably after seeing all the ‘RIP posts’ with his picture present on the internet. He wrote, “I offer my deepest condolences to his friends and family on the demise of Nitin Chauhan. May Nitin rest in peace and may his family get the strength to overcome the tragedy of their loss but I am still alive.”

Nitin further added, “It is imperative that social media and news sources be held accountable for posting and circulating misinformation. Identifying two different individuals as the same person is extremely irresponsible and has had a negative impact on two families. All posts and media that include photos of me saying ‘RIP’ are all false, as I am still alive.”

Nitin further requested his fans and social media users, “Please share this video to help stop the continued spread of misinformation. All false news and media, as well as any images or content suggesting my death, must be immediately withdrawn and removed from circulation.” Let us tell you that a few days ago, actor Nitin Chauhan, best known for his performances in shows like ‘MTV Splitsvilla 5’, ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’, ‘Crime Patrol’ and others, was found dead in Mumbai on November 7 at the age of 35. Police suspect it may be a case of suicide and have begun an investigation.
