Farah Khan Slams Fake Insta Account Impersonating Her Cook, Dilip; Warns ‘Better Take It Down’

Filmmaker and YouTube vlogger Farah Khan may be winning hearts online with her daily vlogs, but fame seems to have come with its own share of digital drama. Farah recently took to Instagram to expose a fake profile impersonating her cook Dilip—an unexpected fan-favourite who features frequently in her videos.

Sharing a screenshot of the account, Farah revealed that the impersonator had already gained over 57,000 followers and had tagged her in the bio. The page, packed with over 240 posts and multiple viral reels—some crossing 1 lakh views—was mostly reposted content lifted directly from Farah’s YouTube channel.

Clearly upset, the Main Hoon Na director called out the account on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “We are complaining. You better take it down.” Her warning seemed to work—within hours, the account changed its username to A1 Blogger, removed its display picture, and deleted all existing posts.

Farah’s bond with Dilip, her ever-cheerful cook, has become a regular part of her vlogs and viewer charm. In a recent episode featuring Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur, she even narrated how she met Dilip over a decade ago—right outside Ajay’s home.

“You won’t believe how I found him!” Farah recalled excitedly. “He was loitering outside your bungalow, and your mum gave him a ticket to Son of Sardaar.”

Dilip chimed in with a smile, “Mummy ke saath achi jaan-pehchaan thi. Mera chhota bhai kaam karta tha, Bholaa.”

Farah then asked Ajay to check with his mother if she remembered the young boy from back then—now her go-to kitchen buddy and an internet sensation in his own right.
