For a long time, there has been fierce competition between Bollywood and Hollywood films. While almost every Hollywood film is making big money at the box office, Bollywood is in a bad shape these days. At this time, Bollywood movies are getting flopped one after the other. Recently, the audience was expecting a lot from Ranbir Kapoor’s film Shamshera, but compared to the trailer, nothing special was seen in the film and the film has become a rage on the third day at the box office.

Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar has targeted Bollywood stars and directors. During a conversation with Hollywood director Russo Brothers, he said, ‘Ever since we have been watching our heroes are seen killing bad people in films’. After this, he said, ‘Bollywood films should be ready to compete with Hollywood content’.

Farhan Akhtar further said that even though Bollywood may not have the VFX power and budget like Hollywood, Bollywood will have to improve its films because now the audience can watch content from all over the world. On the work front, Farhan Akhtar is going to return to direction once again through ‘Jee Le Zara’. At the same time, he was last seen working in the 2021 film Toofaan. Apart from him in this film, Paresh Rawal played the lead role of Mrunal Thakur. However, this film was a flop.
