American pop star, Britney Spears’s battle for conservatorship with her father Jamie Spears has been making headlines from past days. The pop sensation had exposed to a judge about the unhealthy conservatorship that pushed her into depression and left her traumatized. As per the reports, last week, A US judge has denied request of Britney to end her conservatorship. After losing the court battle, Britney Spears’s case became the hot topic of discussion for the media and many celebrities landed in support of the pop sensation.

The latest to join the bandwagon is actress Shibani Dandekar. Shibani is quite vocal about women’s right. She has come out in support of the American pop singer. Shibani has shown her disappointment over the court’s verdict. The actress took to her Instagram story and shared a screenshot of a news article where Britney Spears’s court verdict was published. Along with the screenshot, she wrote, “This is the world we live in.” She also wrote, “Stop Controlling Women.”

Shibani also shared a screenshot of Bill Cosby’s case verdict and highlighted the word ‘freed.’ She wrote, “On the same day.” To make a note, Britney’s conservatorship hearing and Cosbey’s Me Too case verdict came out with only a difference of few hours.

For the uninitiated, Britney’s father Jamie Spears was named the conservator of the Singer’s estate when she suffered a public breakdown. The wealth-management firm Bessemer Trust Company joined Jamie last year as co-conservator of the estate.

As per the report in Variety, the court documents which were filed on Wednesday stated that, “The conservator’s request to suspend James P. Spears immediately upon the appointment of Bessemer Trust Company of California as sole conservator of the estate is denied without prejudice.”

The court verdict also mentioned that Britney Spears is “substantially unable to manage his or her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence.”

The ruling came out after Britney’s father had filed a response in the court in which he said that he loves his daughter a lot and is concerned about her.
