PM Narendra Modi announced the repeal of all three farm laws against which farmer’s from Punjab, Haryana and Western UP have been protesting for almost a year now. While the news has brought happiness and home to farmers , Bollywood has laid out some evasive reactions.

Using her Twitter handle to congratulate the farmers she wrote “You have won! In your victory is the victory of all” while retweeting Bhupendra Chudhary’s tweet.

Sonu Sood
Suporting the farmers he called PM Modi’s decision a wonderful news tweeting” this is wonderful news! Thankyou @narendramodi ji, @PMOIndia for taking back the farm laws. Thankyou farmers for raising just demands through peaceful protests. Hope you will happily return to be with your familieson the Parkash Purab of Shiri Guru Nanak Dev Ji today.

He also took this opportunity to wish everyone Guru Nanak Jayanti.

Kangana Ranaut
Showing disappointment Kanagan Ranaut took onto her Instagram handle to post stories to share her views.
Sharing a tweet over there she wrote “Sad, shameful, absolutely unfair. If people on the streets start to make laws and not the government, then even this is a jihadi nation. Congratulations to all those who wanted this”

In another story sharing a picture of late former PM Indira Gandhi she wrote “When te conscience of the nation is in deep sleep, lath{the cane} is the only solution and dictatorship is the only resolution” as Friday marks the 104thBirth Anniversary of the former PM.

Kangana Ranaut has often expressed her dismay over conflicting views on the Farm Laws with other celebs such as Diljit Dosanjh, Sanjay Raut bashing them on twitter. Not only Indian celebrities but Kangan Ranaut went on to thrash American celebrities such as Rihana, who showed her support for the farmers. Soon after this Kangana got banned for violating twitter guidelines.

Other bollywood celebrities also took on social media and praised the revoke of Farm Laws. Actor and Singer Diljit Dosanjh put up a instagram story expressing appericiation wrote” Shukar Parmatma Da Nanak Naam CHARDI KALAA Tere Bhem Surba Da Bhalad Shukar.” Along with Diljit other celebrities also shared a positive response on this news such as Guk Panag and Shruti Seth who erote ‘Grateful to @narendramodi.’
