Fawad Khan Says He Misses Bollywood, Shares He Made Great Friends In The Industry-Deets Inside!

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan left a trail of broken hearts behind when the unfortunate incidences between the two rival nations led him to leave the Bollywood industry. His fans in India still cannot get over his flawless performances in films like Khoobsurat, Kapoor & Sons, and more? But after staying away from the screens for more than 5 years, the actor is making his way back to television and we are jumping with joy. Fawad is all set to reunite with his Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Sanam Saeed.

Recently, the first look of Fawad and Sanam’s upcoming web show was revealed. During the conversation with a leading daily, Khan was asked if he misses Bollywood. In his reply, Fawad shared that he made some friends for life in the Hindi film industry and he is in touch with them.

Fawad quoted, “I do. I made some great friends there, I still keep in touch with them. Yeah, I miss it. I miss Mumbai, it’s a beautiful city. In fact, in all the cities that I have been to, I have had a lovely experience.”

After the Uri attack in 2016, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association passed a resolution to ban Pakistani celebrities from working in Indian films. The All-Indian Cine Workers Association announced a total ban on Pakistani artists after the Pulwama terror attack in 2019.

Talking about Fawad’s upcoming project, the actor will be reuniting with Saeed after eight years for a Zindagi Digital series directed by Asim Abbasi. The show, which will also stream on Zee5, blends together magical realism and supernatural fantasy within a family reunion setting’. The show is based on the themes of ‘love, loss, and reconciliation’. In the series, Fawad will play a single parent who is ‘ridden with guilt for what he has lost’.
