Jamie Dornan recently revealed a scary experience with a stalker that affected his family after the huge success of the Fifty Shades of Grey film series.

In a recent interview with The Independent, the actor disclosed that taking on the role of Christian Grey did have consequences. The ‘Heart of Stone’ actor recalled that after the film was released, he was at the centre of fan attention and had a particularly scary experience that involved a stalker who turned up at his home while his kids were present.

Interviewing with The Independent, Jamie Dornan detailed the incident and said: “I had a situation—a stalker-type situation—before COVID. That was f***ing scary. Someone turned up at my house when my kids were there. It was not something… The more I can block that out, the better it is for me and the family”, he added.

‘Nothing Like Fifty Shades Again’

The actor also opened up about the intense public criticism that arrives when he takes on such high-profile projects. He also hinted that he is never going to work in a high profile projects like ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.

Jamie Dornan was last seen in the Netflix thriller Heart of Stone. It also starred Gal Gadot and Alia Bhatt. The August release also marked the Hollywood debut of actor Alia Bhatt. He will also be seen in season 1 of The Tourist, which arrives on Netflix on February 1, 2024.
