‘Fight Like A Girl’: Samantha Ruth Prabhu Shares Cryptic Post Amid Naga Chaitanya’s Remarriage
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have officially tied the knot, with the couple marrying on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The intimate ceremony marks the beginning of a new chapter for the actors, following their public relationship that garnered much attention.
On the day of the wedding, Naga Chaitanya’s ex-wife, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, shared a cryptic post on Instagram that quickly caught the attention of fans. Samantha reshared a video originally posted by Hollywood actress Viola Davis, which depicted a wrestling match between a boy and a girl. In the video, the boy enters the match with confidence but is ultimately defeated by the girl. The caption shared by Viola Davis read: “Not fragile like a flower, fragile like a BOMB #FightLikeAGirl,” which Samantha also echoed by adding “#FightLikeAGirl” to her own post. The timing of Samantha’s story, which coincided with Naga Chaitanya’s wedding, has fueled speculation among fans, though no direct comment has been made regarding its meaning.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya’s father, veteran actor Nagarjuna, shared heartfelt moments from the wedding, posting pictures on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). In the photos, Sobhita Dhulipala looked stunning in a golden kanjivaram saree, while Naga Chaitanya opted for a traditional white kurta paired with a dhoti. Expressing his joy, Nagarjuna wrote, “Watching Sobhita and Chay begin this beautiful chapter together has been a special and emotional moment for me. Congratulations to my beloved Chay, and welcome to the family dear Sobhita–you’ve already brought so much happiness into our lives.”
Nagarjuna also reflected on the emotional significance of the ceremony, stating that the wedding was held under the blessings of his late father, legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR). “This celebration holds even deeper meaning as it unfolds under the blessings of ANR garu’s statue, installed to mark his centenary year,” Nagarjuna shared. He further expressed his gratitude for the blessings received on the special day.
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu had married in 2017 but announced their separation in October 2021 through a joint statement.
