FIRST TEASER Of Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 Will Leave You Nostalgic

Ever since Ekta Kapoor announced the second season of her hit TV show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, the fans are left curious and excited. The anticipation of who will play the lead characters of Prerna(Shweta Tiwari), Anurag(Cezanne Khan) and Komolika(Urvashi Dholakia). The speculations were rife and the names of many popular actors like Barun Sobti, Ssharad Malhotra, Shaheer Sheikh, Mohit Raina, and Parth Samthan came up in the recent month.


Amidst numerous speculations and rumours, Erica Fernandes was roped in to play the lead role of ‘Prerna’. Erica was last seen in Sony TV’s popular show ‘Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi’. After weeks of wait and excitement, Ekta Kapoor just dropped the first teaser of Kasauti Zindagi Kay.

For the teaser, the makers have recreated the old melody and song of the title track. Erica is dressed in black kurta and black dupatta. The visuals, long red dupatta flying in the air, candles and flowers will leave you nostalgic. The recreation of the teaser is perfect to the T and it’ll leave you wanting for more.

This teaser has surely peaked our excitement and we can’t wait to see more of it. The question that who will step into the shoes of Anurag Basu was unanswered until now. But the wait is over. The actor who will play the male lead is none other than Abhimanyu Chaudhary. He was last seen in Shamitabh.


It seems that just like us, Abhimanyu can also not keep calm and is very excited to play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s next production. The actor took to his Instagram and posted the first teaser.

If sources are to be believed, Hina Khan will play the role of the antagonist Komolika in the show. Hina has played the lead role in Star Plus’ another popular and long-running TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. She was also a part of reality shows like Big Boss and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. It will be interesting to see Hina playing a negative character for the first time.


The show will go on-air by August this year and we can’t keep calm!
