The ‘Game of Thrones’ Nathalie Emmanuel gushed about RRR in a series of tweets, explaining why she called it a “sick” film. She was particularly taken with the Naatu Naatu song, which made the Oscars 2023 shortlist.
RRR, directed by S.S. Rajamouli, is being praised by audiences all over the world; the film has been nominated for an Oscar in 2023, and the accolades continue to pour in. Recently, Game of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel praised the film and praised Alia Bhatt’s character Seetha in particular.
RRR continues to captivate Western audiences. Since its release on Netflix and in select theatres in the United States, the film has gained a cult following, garnering rave reviews and praise from not only fans, but also Hollywood luminaries such as filmmaker Joe Dante and writer Jon Spaihts.
For the uninitiated, Emmanuel is an English actress best known for her role as Missandei in the fantasy series Game of Thrones. Recently, the actress took to her social media account to express her thoughts on the pan-India film; she even praised the film’s production team for their efforts.
In her initial post, she said, “RRR is a sick movie, and no one can convince me otherwise.”
Natalie Emmaneul responded, “Let me just mount my Bredrin on my shoulders and act as the legs; then they can use their arms to murk several armed soldiers.”
She even referred to Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ dance as ‘absolute Fire,’ and her entire Tweet was, “Also the dance off…. other than the dance itself being absolute FIRE… It was translated as “Dance as tangy as a piece of raw mango,” the Englishman says.
She gave a’shout-out’ to Olivia Morris and praised Alia Bhatt’s ‘Seetha,’ as well as stunt coordinator King Solomon. Take a look at this.

While Ram Charan portrayed the former, Jr NTR portrayed Bheem. The film earned over 1200 crore worldwide during its theatrical run despite being made on a budget of approximately 300 crore.
In terms of RRR, the film’s song Naatu Naatu was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. The film has been nominated for fourteen Academy Awards in 2023.
