At the Citadel Asia press conference in Mumbai today, Priyanka Chopra walked on stage and hugged her Citadel co-star Richard Madden, who had travelled all the way to India to promote their upcoming action series Citadel.

Both actors discussed their upcoming series, characters, and what makes it unique.

If Richard is in India, questions about Bollywood are unavoidable. Richard has returned to the country to promote his upcoming project and has nothing but praise for Bollywood!

The Citadel trailer has been the talk of the town since its release. Josh Appelbaum and Bryan Oh are producing a blockbuster series based on an American science fiction action thriller for Amazon Prime Video. There is no better pairing than Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas to play Citadel agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh.

Citadel, which will have regional and language variations, will premiere on April 28, 2023. A press conference was held in Mumbai for Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Games of Thrones star Richard Madden, where the lead actors are busy promoting their new series.

A series of questions were posed to the lead, the most important of which was whether Richard would like to make his debut in the Bollywood industry, to which his response was promising and exciting.

Richard Madden Desire To Work On A Bollywood Film.

During the press conference, interviewer questioned Richard Madden, “If you were offered a role in India, which role would you prefer?”

which Richard responded, “Absolutely. I’d like to do something comedic”, Priyanka Chopra took over after hearing his response, saying, “I’m already starting to think about it.”

 

Richard expressed his love for Bollywood and stated that he would love to work on a Bollywood film with Priyanka Chopra. According to the Citadel actor, Bollywood produces the most films each year. He would like to do a comedy-genre film in Bollywood after doing some serious stuff in his acting career.

On Professional Front 

Richard Madden is known for his role in Games of Thrones. He has appeared in several prominent works, including the Elton John biopic Rocketman and the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s The Eternals, alongside Salma Hayek, Kit Harington, and Angelina Jolie.

He is also well-known for his roles in Bastille Day, in which he co-starred with Idris Elba, and in the war drama 1917. He received critical acclaim for his performance as a war veteran turned police sergeant in the British series Bodyguard.
