Gauahar Khan, Zaid Darbar Welcome Their Second Child

Gauahar Khan and her husband Zaid Darbar have welcomed their second child, a baby boy. The couple shared the joyful news with their fans on September 1 via an Instagram post. The new baby joins their elder son, Zehaan, who, according to the parents, is “overjoyed” to become a big brother.

​The announcement, a note shared on their joint Instagram account, read, “Zehaan is overjoyed to graciously share his kingdom with his new baby brother born on Sept 1, 2025. Seeking everyone’s continued love and blessings for our elated family. Grateful and giggling parents, Zaid and Gauahar.

​In a previous conversation with actress Debina Bonnerjee, Gauahar had opened up about her challenging journey to motherhood. She revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage before conceiving her first son, Zehaan. “I think this was the right time for something like this,” she said. “I had a miscarriage before, and it took me at least 1 to 1.5 years to recover from that and to be able to tell myself that ‘okay, let’s try.’”

​Gauahar explained that after her miscarriage, she was concerned about her age. “By the time I gave birth to Zehaan, I was already 39, and if I wanted another child, it was now or never,” she stated. The actress married Zaid Darbar on December 25, 2020, and the couple welcomed their first son, Zehaan, in 2023.
