Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar had a terrible 2022 at the box-office. But that didn’t stop him from providing financial support to the poor. The Ram Setu actor recently helped a 25-year-old girl who needed a heart transplant. He reportedly donated Rs 15 lakh to the girl from Gurugram, Delhi.

Akshay helped a girl named Ayushi Sharma after learning about her critical condition. While he believes in keeping his philanthropic work away from the media, Ayushi’s grandfather Yogendra Arun opened up about his generous donations.

He shared that the actor came to know about Ayushi’s condition through his Samrat Prithviraj director Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Yogendra said that he told Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi that he will take money from Akshay ji but he should be allowed to express his gratitude. That is why he wanted to talk about the big-hearted actor.

The grandfather opened up about Ayushi’s condition. He said that Ayushi was born with a defect in her heart. At the age of 25, doctors at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram told them that her heart is functioning at 25 percent only.

Doctors suggested that a heart transplant is the last option for them. The generous actor Akshay Kumar’s help made it easy for them. He said that they are now looking for a donor heart for the transplant.
