Popular television actors Palak Purswani and Avinash Sachdev who have been dating each other since three years now, are all set to take their relationship to the next level. The couple’s kacchi misri took place yesterday evening. It was an intimate affair with just their family members and close friends from the telly world in attendance.

Palak says, “We have been wanting to take ahead our relationship and organised this ceremony, since a very long time, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it got delayed. In fact, my parents shifted to Mumbai, a few months ago from Nagpur. Both our families met and finally decided to organise kacchi mishri ceremony. I’m happy that finally Avi and I will begin the new chapter of our lives.”

Palak reveals it was their mutual decision to get married, “For now, we just had this small ceremony and may do a Roka soon. However, our marriage has time as we will get married by the end of this year or start of the next year. I am in a very happy space as we have been deciding this for a long time. We had planned this for 2020 but the whole pandemic thing screwed our plans but finally we have managed to launch our restaurant as well as doing this ceremony. It’s a step ahead for both of us on the personal and professional front.”

While opening about his relationship with Palak, Avinash had earlier told TOI, “Palak is also a Sindhi and for the first time, I am in a relationship with someone from the same community. We have similar tastes, too. Life is looking good again, but I want to give this relationship more time before I take the plunge. All I can say is, we are more than friends, but we haven’t thought of anything beyond that.” 

Avinash is known for his shows including, ‘Choti Bahu’, ‘Main Bhi Ardhangini’, ‘Qabool Hai’ etc, while Palak, who is playing the lead role in ‘Durga’ has been a part of television serials such as ‘Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke’ and ‘Bade Bhaiyya ki Dulhania’.
