Actor Gia Manek, best known for her role as Gopi Bahu in the popular TV show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, surprised fans by announcing her wedding to actor Varunn Jain. The couple shared romantic glimpses from their traditional ceremony, leaving followers delighted.
On Thursday, Gia and Varunn took to Instagram to reveal the news, posting photos from their wedding at Isha Foundation in Tamil Nadu. The couple twinned in golden-hued outfits, with Gia dazzling in a mustard-gold silk saree adorned with traditional bridal jewelry and jasmine flowers, while Varunn complemented her look in a cream kurta with a golden dupatta.
Sharing their happiness, the actors wrote, “With the grace of Divine and Master’s and with all the love showered, we’ve stepped into this forever union — hand in hand, heart to heart.” They further added, “We were two friends, today we’re husband & wife. So grateful for the love, blessings and wishes from all our loved ones who made this day so special. Cheers to a lifetime of laughter, adventure, memories, and togetherness as Mr. & Mrs.”
Interestingly, Gia disabled the comment section on the wedding post, keeping the announcement limited to pictures and heartfelt notes. Not much is known publicly about her relationship with Varunn before the wedding.
Gia rose to fame with Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and went on to star in Jeannie Aur Juju and Tera Mera Saath Rahe. She also participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 in 2012. Varunn, on the other hand, became popular with his role in Diya Aur Baati Hum and was recently seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
